Once he's sure she's okay, Hughes will begin leading the way through Central. He stays along the main canals as he leads her through the city, partly because there are a lot of shops to see and partly because the air always seems fresher coming off the water. Any time he points out any interesting buildings or places that Hotaru shows interest in, he'll make a point to stop. They really are in no hurry and he always love re-exploring his home town with a fresh set of eyes.
After they've been walking around for a good hour or two, he'll stop in front of an ice cream shop and give her a small grin. "Care for an afternoon snack?"
